My Services
As a certified Orton-Gillingham Interventionist, my lessons are given in a
one-on-one setting in order to maintain the fidelity of
prescriptive, explicit instruction designed for each individual learner.
The Orton-Gillingham approach is not just designed for children with dyslexia.
It benefits children with ADHD, dysgraphia, processing disorders, and any child who is struggling with reading, spelling, and/or writing.
A child does not have to have a diagnosis to benefit from the OG approach. However, a diagnosis does provide a clearer understanding of how a child learns.

My services include:
-
Initial Diagnostic Lesson
-
Prescriptive, research-based lesson planning for each lesson
-
2 to 3 weekly sessions of 50-60 minutes in length
-
Student binder which includes homework, reading passages, word sorts, and other reading/spelling tools
-
Progress Monitoring
-
Regular verbal and/or written updates
-
Online Zoom sessions are available and equally as effective as in person sessions.
